As a charitable foundation involved in the welfare of both wild and domestic animals worldwide, the causes we affiliate with are as diverse and far-reaching as the animals themselves. But, with so many deserving causes, how do we choose the right one? The answer is a three-step process in which we evaluate each cause rigorously and thoughtfully.

First, Impact. While the smallest actions can sometimes have a profound effect, we want to see the best results possible. That means choosing causes poised to make a significant difference. Whether it’s a grassroots initiative rescuing and rehabilitating stray animals, a large-scale conservation effort, or an ongoing campaign to raise awareness against animal cruelty, we prioritize organizations with clear, tangible, and measurable benefits to animals in need.

Second, Transparency. Every cent we spend comes from the hard-earned money of our supporters. They trust us to spend it wisely. As such, we expect organizations we sponsor to demonstrate transparency and accountability in their operations. What does that mean? It means diligently reviewing past performance, funding allocation, governance, and overall management to ensure the donations they receive go, as much as possible, towards the causes they advertise, maximizing the benefits to the animals they serve.

Finally, Sustainability. Long-term, lasting change is always greater than a one-hit-wonder. We seek out organizations that address not just the immediate needs of animals but that create lasting solutions. That could involve advocacy for policy changes, education of communities, or programs implemented to enable sustainable animal care.
